This five railroad assortment also carried the governor of Louisiana with the MP, ICG, KCS, SP and UP all represented on this trip. The train is headed west and coming off the Huey P. Long brdge. My friends with the MP who invited me to ride could not understand why I chose not to ride. This scene will never happen again. |

I saw the book later on and compared the bushes and trees which were barely unchanged in the 30-40 year time difference in the photographs.
